Sugary delights

Becksie has a love for Nutmeg! nutmegIt is one of the most delightful things in the world (in her opinion). Ian has a love of sugar! We all love love love French Breakfast Muffins and whenever we make them (which is often) we always make extra of the sugar that goes on the top which Ian takes huge delight in eating on weird and wonderful things. So…… we decided to make a pot of this sugary delight so that we always have some available in the pantry. This will make the temptation to make French Breakfast Muffins even greater but……. it is a homemade ‘product’ that we think will work well for other things. For example in coffee, on top of cakes, on toast (yes Ian likes sugar on toast), on pancakes……. the world’s your nutmeg so to speak. So…… here’s what we did:

Take a jar and add the amount of sugar you require

We added a teaspoon of cinnamon and a VERY generous helping of nutmeg

Perfect! Keep in an airtight jar and use as you like. And..... the best bit you can add more sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon as it runs low.
